
Biography
Larry Tortorich is an Adjunct Professor at Tulane University’s Emergency & Security Studies program instructing graduate and undergraduate students on intelligence analysis and critical thinking. He is currently serving as the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Field Intelligence Officer (FIO). His career skill set of 36 years includes National Security, Homeland Security and Homeland Defense having served on active duty in the US Navy and retired after 24 years of commissioned service as a Commander (O-5), as a Federal Employee with the US Department of Homeland Security and service supporting USNORTHCOM Antiterrorism (AT) and Force Protection (FP) missions. His education includes earning a BS degree from Tulane University, New Orleans, LA and a MA degree in National Security from the US Naval War College, Newport RI.
