Master's Degree Programs
For the graduate ready to expand on their interdisciplinary education, SoPA offers a Master of Liberal Arts (MLA). Established in 1983, Tulane's MLA program is aimed at developing critical thinking and communication skills through a tailored program of study built around each student's interests. This program offers traditional liberal arts courses with offerings in literature, philosophy, sociology, history, and political science. Students can attend on-campus courses or combine their in-person learning with additional courses through an online format.
