The American Advertising Federation (AAF) is “the Unifying Voice for Advertising.” Headquartered in Washington, DC, this professional organization represents more than 40,000 members.

The American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) is a professional organization for design. Its members practice all forms of communication design, including graphic design, typography, interaction design, user experience, branding and identity. Tulane AIGA is established for the purpose of bringing together students who either participate in design-related fields or appreciate or advocate for design and design thinking.

The Tulane ICMA seeks to advance the professional development of students interested in careers that support thriving communities. ICMA is a leading professional association dedicated to creating and supporting professions working within government or those whose careers touch the workings of government (such as nonprofits and community organizers).

PRSSA, the foremost organization for students interested in the public relations and communications fields, announced the establishment of a Chapter at Tulane University. This marks the 11th school in Louisiana to be affiliated with PRSSA’s nearly 375 Chapters worldwide, continuing the organization’s mission to build a robust, widespread network of students at institutions of higher learning.
