Admissions Process

Our admission process gives you a chance to share more about yourself and define your goals. For both undergraduate and graduate programs, the first step will be to submit your official transcripts. From there, you will complete your application through our online portal. Undergraduate programs have an open admissions policy with rolling acceptance. Upon submitting a detailed personal statement, graduate applicants may also complete an interview with the program director for acceptance into the program.

Academic Credit for Life & Work Experience

At Tulane SoPA, we know that you bring unique experiences beyond the classroom. You may be eligible to earn credit for your prior life and work experiences through our prior learning assessment program, CLEP and DSST examinations, and previous military or post-secondary training.


Student Transfers

If you're interested in completing your studies with the School of Professional Advancement, our advisors can help you through the process. We accept transfer credits from all fully accredited institutions, and we are proud to have special partnerships for transfer students from Delgado College and the National Guard Bureau Homeland Security Institute (HSI).


Financial Assistance

You have options for financing your education through Tulane SoPA. We accept federal financial aid for eligible applicants, as well as several scholarship programs and benefits for active duty military and veterans. Additionally, you may be eligible for tuition discounts for senior citizens and public employees.
