Stackable Graduate Certificates
Discover what's possible with career-focused graduate certificate programs from Tulane School of Professional Advancement. Our certificates help students gain specialized knowledge in relevant subject areas that they can leverage for leadership roles in their chosen field. All certificates can be applied toward a master's degree.
Each graduate certificate consists of four courses that provide you with hands-on, industry knowledge in a specific field. Graduate certificate credits can also be applied to a SoPA master's degree. If you're interested in pursuing a Master of Professional Studies (MPS) and applying your certificate toward degree completion, contact the program director for next steps by selecting one of the program links below.
How Do Stackable Certificates Work?
With a stackable graduate certificate, you'll gain specialized knowledge to help you further your education and impact your career. After earning a SoPA graduate certificate, you can "stack" these credits along with those earned in required courses or capstones to apply toward an eligible master's degree. Each of Tulane SoPA's programs is different and requires a specified number of core classes combined with certificates to earn a master's. In general, each student will follow the three key steps outlined below to achieve a master's degree:
Earn Your Master's With Stackable Certificates
Many of SoPA's advanced degrees are offered completely online, allowing students access to graduate-level coursework from anywhere in the world without sacrificing their other work and life obligations. With a master's, you can take your career a step further by qualifying for advanced leadership roles. Our programs are designed for working adults and are taught by industry experts, many of who are also working professionals. Courses are affordable, and we offer financial aid, discounts, and credit for work and life experience. Learn how you can get experience beyond the classroom and take advantage of hands-on learning experiences that will shape your studies in a fulfilling career.
Post-Baccalaureate Certificates
Post-Baccalaureate Certificates, also made up of undergraduate courses, are for individuals who have already earned a bachelor's degree. SoPA believes that students should have every opportunity to further their education and advance their careers and we strive to make education affordable. Post-Baccalaureate Certificate courses offer skills-based coursework and are charged at the undergraduate tuition rate.
Professional Certificates
Undergraduate Professional Certificates provide an efficient and effective means for students to retool for new careers or bring additional areas of focus into their current employment. Each certificate requires only 12 or 15 credits (4 or 5 classes), depending upon your chosen field, so you can add a new skillset in just a semester or two.
