Tuition & Fees

Fall 2026 Tuition

• All SoPA Undergraduate courses. Post-Baccalaureate Certificates, and Professional Certificates: $600 per credit hour
• Non-SoPA undergraduate courses: $2,943 per credit hour
• All SoPA Graduate courses and Graduate Certificates: $900 per credit hour
• Master of Arts in Teaching: $600 per credit hour
• Special Education and Teaching English Learners Certificates: $600 per credit hour *

* This rate applies only to students declared as TEL or SPED certificate students. Students taking TEL or SPED courses as part of the MEd will be charged the regular graduate rate of $900 per credit hour.)

Pre-nursing tuition changes to a flat rate once the student begins the 60-credit nursing program. Please see the BS in Nursing tuition below.

• Graduate Application Fee: $50
• Academic Support Fee: $60
• Student Activity Fee: $12 per three-credit course ($48 maximum)
• Graduate Credit for Prior Learning Portfolio Fee: $900
• Undergraduate Credit for Prior Learning Portfolio Fee after the first three assessments: $600

All undergraduate and graduate students, including those on a Tulane waiver, must accept their offer of admission and pay a non-refundable deposit to be applied towards tuition and fees. The undergraduate deposit is $25 and the graduate deposit is $100.

Some courses have fees to support the technology needed for high-quality virtual and on-ground experiences.  These fees are always listed on the schedule of classes.

Spring 2027 Tuition

In partnership with the Tulane School of Medicine, SoPA now offers a pre-nursing program and a BS in Nursing. Pre-nursing tuition is charged at the standard SoPA undergraduate rate of $600 per credit hour for the first 60 credits. You may find more information on the nursing website.
