Education Program Teacher Discounts
Tuition Waiver through the SEED Grant Partnership
Tulane SoPA is proud to partner with New Schools for New Orleans (NSNO), Xavier University, TNTP, and Reach University in the U.S. Department of Education's Supporting Effective Educator Development (SEED) Grant Partnership. Through the SEED grant, students in the MAT program may qualify for a full tuition waiver. This grant also offers Tulane SoPA undergraduate students who enroll in Education Coordinate Majors to have tuition waived for their undergraduate education courses.
SEED Application Process
Deadline for students planning to apply for SEED in the Spring to apply to SoPA.
Students should receive their SEED application by this date.

Jefferson Parish Schools Tuition Reimbursement Program
Non-certified teachers are eligible to take part in our partnership with Jefferson Parish Schools. In our Jefferson Parish Schools Tuition Reimbursement Program, Jefferson Parish Schools will pay up to $1,500 for 3 credit hours and up to $3,000 for 6 credit hours to help offset the cost of tuition and selected fees.
20% Tuition Discount Scholarships*
We offer a 20% tuition discount on undergraduate, graduate, and post-baccalaureate level-courses to students who are full-time educators and paraprofessionals.
* If 100% of your tuition is covered by a tuition waiver or scholarship, you are not eligible for a tuition discount.
GEAUX Teach Grant
Located in Louisiana? You may have access to the GEAUX Teach Grant with the state of LA. Students may apply for up to $5,000 each year to pay for tuition and fees.

Tulane offers federal financial aid, Yellow Ribbon scholarships, and other forms of financial support.
