SoPA and Tulane University are excited to announce the transition back to campus for the fall semester. While we encourage students to continue to meet with advisors, faculty and staff remotely, our offices will be open for limited in-person visits. Beginning Monday August 3, Elmwood offices are open 8:30A.M.– 5:00P.M. Gibson Hall offices will remain closed as Tulane renovates new space for SoPA on the Uptown campus. All faculty and staff are working and available.

Please continue to check your Tulane email, Canvas, the SoPA COVID-19 FAQ, and the Tulane Return to Campus page for updates.

Earn Your Graduate Certificate in K-12 Education Leadership

SoPA’s 100% online graduate certificate in K-12 Education Leadership prepares current and future professionals and changemakers for leadership roles in the K-12 sector. New Orleans, as a center of educational innovation, forms the basis for a unique learning experience that will prepare you to lead in diverse settings and organizations. Become ready for a range of roles related to K-12 education, including school and system administrator; nonprofit or philanthropic organization executive; and civic sector manager or leader in K-12 education policy. Complete four courses in order to earn the certificate. If you would like to pursue an MPS degree and apply your certificate towards the degree completion, please contact the Program Director for next steps. The process is simple and can be completed without reapplying.

Courses from this graduate-level “stackable” certificate program are a part of the Master of Public Administration program at SoPA; students may take an additional eight courses, including seven required core courses, to earn the MPA degree.
