SoPA Undergraduate Scholarship Opportunities
Applications for SoPA’s Fall 2023 endowed scholarships will close on Sunday, August 6, 2023.
- Monaghan Scholarship: awarded to a SoPA undergraduate student majoring or minoring in Homeland Security Studies
- Osher Re-entry Scholarships: awarded to SoPA undergraduate students with at least 9 credits but not more than 40 credits who are between the ages of 25 and 50 with a 5-year or more gap in the pursuit of higher education
- Rowe Scholarships: awarded to SoPA undergraduate students who are military veterans or active-duty military, with preference given to those injured in the line of duty
- Tidewater/Assad Scholarship: awarded to a SoPA undergraduate majoring or minoring in Humanities

This course is for students with a basic understanding of information technology who wish to do a deeper dive on Cybersecurity and also prepare for, and potentially earn, a CompTIA Security+ industry certification at the same time. This course is open to both undergrad and grad students.

Examine stress from a psycho-physiological and behavioral perspective and discuss the science behind how stress effects the mind and body, students are given the opportunity to experience strategies for coping with stress.
