Gretchen Lynn is the Vice President of Customer Experience at Levelset. Levelset helps construction professionals make the payment process stress-free. Construction payments can be really complex and cause a lot of stress on a business. Customers connect on the online platform to see everyone who’s on their project, easily exchange payment documents, and quickly resolve any issues. This leads to faster payments and fewer surprises.
Gretchen has a background in communications and started as Employee #1 for Levelset in 2011. Levelset is venture-backed by S3 Ventures, Altos Ventures, and Brick & Mortar Ventures. Headquartered in New Orleans with offices in Austin and Cairo, Egypt, Levelset employs over 160 people. Gretchen and Levelset both grew 100% year over year. With no tech nor start-up background, she self educated herself in the tech space and specifically leaned into the revenue and customer side of the house.
Working for a high-growth tech startup, Gretchen built the customer-facing side of tech from the ground up by spearheading the Customer Success Team. She believes Customer Success is the heartbeat of tech and is an expansive opportunity to learn everything about the market, business, customer and software components of the company. Today, Gretchen heads up the entire customer experience for Levelset. She owns overall customer adoption, retention and expansion of the product with close ties to Product, Marketing, Engineering and Customer Success leadership.
As a three-time nominee for the Ada Lovelace Women in Tech Awards, mentor for female tech founders and Venture for America fellows working in tech, and a frequent participant in Tech Talent South and W.I.N.O.
