Harrah's Scholarships for Minority Students

Application Form. (submission deadline is January 4, 2024)

Endowed through a generous gift from the Harrah’s Foundation, these scholarships support the education of students who contribute to the ethnic diversity of Tulane’s undergraduate student body.

To be eligible, a SoPA undergraduate student must:

• Be a member of an ethnic minority group contributing to the diversity of the university
• Demonstrate academic merit (cumulative GPA of at least 3.4)
• Have declared a major field of study
• Have earned at least 30 credit hours through SoPA

This is a spring semester award. Award amounts vary, though $1,500 is typical. Multiple scholarships may be awarded in a single year. Recipients may reapply in subsequent years, provided that they maintain a 3.4 GPA and are continuously enrolled.
