National League of Cities
We’re proud to work with the National League of Cities University (NLCU) to provide municipal leaders from across the country with valuable educational experiences. The NLCU is an executive education and leadership development initiative developed by the National League of Cities to help municipal leaders – both elected and appointed – build the skills they need to better govern, serve and advocate for their communities.
This partnership presents an opportunity - especially for students working in local governments, to grow practical skills and technical knowledge needed to better serve their communities. NLC members who complete the “Leading Through Disruption” program are eligible to receive up to six credits toward an MPA from Tulane SoPA, as well as discounted tuition. For more information, contact the MPA program director, Dr. Halima Leak-Francis.
