SoPA student email will require Duo multi-factor authentication

Tulane IT’s cybersecurity team will begin enrolling Tulane School of Professional Advancement student email accounts in Duo multi-factor authentication (MFA) July 12-14. Student accounts will be enrolled in alpha order groups by last name. Duo MFA is a secure way to authenticate your account login to prevent cyberattacks like phishing and ransomware and to secure your personal information.

If a student fails to create their Duo account prior to their enrollment date, the student will be locked out of their email until they complete account setup. Faculty are not responsible for extending assignment deadlines if a student is locked out of their email because they didn’t set up their Duo account.
