Join the Tulane SoPA Student Advisory Board
Applications are now being accepted for SoPA’s Student Advisory Board, a group chartered to help guide and inform the policies, marketing, and curriculum of the school by providing feedback to Dean Suri Duitch and her leadership team. The Student Advisory Board offers students an opportunity to make their voices heard, directly to school leadership, on important issues.
“Students’ experiences—both in and out of the classroom—help to shape SoPA’s future.”
— Suri Duitch, Dean of Tulane SoPA
“I rely on the Student Advisory Board for the student’s perspective on the school,” said Dean Suri Duitch. “Students’ experiences—both in and out of the classroom—help to shape SoPA’s future.”
Composed of current undergraduate and graduate students, the Student Advisory Board meets virtually at least twice a year, advises the dean on urgent concerns as they arise, and is invited to join an in-person reception with SoPA's Recent Alumni Council and key donors to the school during Homecoming, Reunion and Family Week.
Alumnus and former board member Tony Massarello said that the ability to support SoPA as well as its current and future students was the most rewarding aspect of his experience.
“A seat on the Student Advisory Board provided me the opportunity to more deeply engage with the university to make a meaningful impact in support of students' needs at SoPA and Tulane,” said Massarello.
