6 ways Tulane SoPA students can connect to campus
Students who live off campus or attend classes 100 percent online can feel disconnected from campus life. For students with busy family lives and full-time careers, its often their goal to study hard and leave extracurriculars out of the picture. If you are among those seeking a taste of campus life, here are six tips to help with your campus connection.
Tailgate with SoPA at Homecoming 2022
Live music, food and dancing are all part of Tulane's Homecoming, Reunion, and Family Weekend! Visit the Tulane SoPA tent in tailgate village on the Uptown campus on Saturday, Oct. 22. Dean Suri Duitch will also host an Open House on the second floor of the Richardson Building on Friday, Oct. 21.
Wave Weekend 2022
Join the SoPA Student Organization (SoPASO)
This is an opportunity to meet fellow students and get involved in events at SoPA and greater Tulane. The group meets virtually and in-person, offering the opportunity for online and in-person students to participate.

Spend a day on or around campus
If weekends are your only free time, there are lots of things to do on campus. Consider visiting the Newcomb Art Museum (it’s free!), or try a restaurant in the Maple area neighborhood near Tulane, or take a walk through the Uptown campus and over to Audubon Park.

Take a virtual New Orleans tour
We highly recommend visiting New Orleans in person, but the virtual experience offered by the New Orleans tourism commission is a great opportunity to see the city while noting your must-see-in-person places.
