Josh Jertberg
Grew up in southern CA, married 20 years with 2 kids. I have been working as an Animator in videos games for more than 15 years and have had the opportunity to ship more than a dozen titles. I specialize in the creation and management of the animation system, rigging and integrating characters as well as creating animation assets. Bringing the characters to life in a game is very rewarding.
What are your favorite activities when you are not working?
I like playing and restoring old pinball machines. Watching movies with my family, and of course playing video games.
First career I dreamed of:
I grew up obsessed with Disney animation and dreamed of a career in traditional animation. Back then video games and CG graphics did not exist yet.
Favorite thing about SoPA?
Its never too late to chase your dreams!
