No. Prospective SoPA students do not need to take graduate admissions testing to be accepted into the MPS in Cybersecurity Management program.

What is the online format of the courses like?

Most of the classes are taught asynchronously, so they can be completed on your own time. However, you will be required to attend monthly synchronous live sessions at specific, pre-planned times.

This is a Master of Professional Studies degree program. While certificate programs offer a basic educational foundation, this MPS provides comprehensive knowledge about cybersecurity as it can be implemented and integrated across industries and organizations. Graduates from the MPS in Cybersecurity Program will receive a master's degree.

Does this program offer concentrations?

Yes. MPS in Cybersecurity Management students can choose from two optional concentrations:

  • Emergency Operations
  • Homeland Security

That's up to you! If you attend full-time, you may complete the program in as little as one year. If you choose a part-time schedule, you'll be encouraged to take at least two courses a semester, but you'll have the flexibility to work at your own pace.

Federal, state, and private grants and scholarships are available to MPS in Cybersecurity Management students who qualify.
