Applications for admission to the online Master of Public Administration (MPA) are now open for Spring, Summer, and Fall 2021! The goal of the MPA program at Tulane School of Professional Advancement is to help develop the next generation of civic leaders. Our innovative program has been specially designed to meet contemporary societal challenges while sharing the unique experiences and expertise of the New Orleans region with the world. All coursework is online, helping students balance their professional and personal lives while earning an advanced degree.
“Career paths that can be pursued with an MPA are diverse and span government, education, nonprofits, and the private sector,” said Dr. Halima Leak Francis, professor of practice and director of the program, who personally welcomes inquiries from prospective applicants. “Our MPA program presents a great opportunity for students to develop the skills needed to successfully navigate the complexities of today’s civic sector and make a positive, lasting difference. Our faculty is eager to begin working with students next fall, and we look forward to connecting with students who are considering the program.”
Students earning their Master of Public Administration can specialize their studies with concentrations and graduate certificates in K-12 Education Leadership, Non-Profit and Strategic Philanthropy Management, Economic Development, and Environmental Management and Resilience.
