Biography
Rebecca Ford is an occupational therapist specializing in orthopedic hand therapy and breast cancer-related lymphedema. A New Orleans native, she earned a B.S. in Psychology from the University of New Orleans and a Master of Occupational Therapy from LSU Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC)- New Orleans in 2014. She is currently pursuing a post-professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Montana and is expected to graduate May 2027.
Rebecca worked at West Jefferson Medical Center Outpatient Rehabilitation in Marrero, LA from 2014 to 2024. In Spring 2025, she joined the LSUHSC faculty, where she teaches occupational therapy for orthopedic conditions, medical conditions and pathophysiology, and application-based courses in the occupational therapy department.
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her husband, their two daughters, and their dog, Henry.
