R. Scott Wells

R. Scott Wells currently resides in Ocean Springs, Mississippi and is a member of Rushing & Guice, P.L.L.C. He focuses his practice on commercial law and litigation, banking law, security interests, corporate law, real estate and personal injury.

A native of Biloxi, Mississippi, Wells graduated as valedictorian from Ocean Springs High School in 1984 and then attended Tulane University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in history with honors in 1988. He participated in Tulane’s joint BA/JD degree program and obtained his Juris Doctorate with honors from Tulane University School of Law in 1990. Wells has obtained a license to practice law in a number of locales including the State of Louisiana in 1990, the State of Mississippi in 1992, the State of New York in 2015, the United States Court of International Trade in 2016, the Supreme Court of the United States in 2017, and the State of Georgia in 2019.
