Biography
Michael Walker is Founder and CEO of Price Ridge Capital, building trade finance infrastructure at the intersection of technology, operations, and product.
He most recently served as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operations Officer of Raistone, a leading working capital solutions provider, where he scaled the platform from under $1 billion to more than $15 billion in financed facilities. His work included leading embedded finance integrations with NetSuite's 40,000-company client base and SAP's $1.7 trillion invoice network, overseeing $1.5 billion in assets under administration, and helping Raistone earn a Gold Award in the 2024 Juniper Research Fintech Innovation Awards. Earlier, he co-founded LiquidX (which acquired Receivables Exchange, the first distributed exchange for buying and selling receivables) and served as its CIO/COO, managing operations that settled $1 billion in trades monthly at peak, and he helped the Bain Capital Ventures and NYSE-backed Receivables Exchange win the Wall Street Journal's Most Innovative E-Commerce Technology award. He began his fintech career at Whitney National Bank, driving double-digit growth in online loans and deposits.
Walker holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and an MBA from the University of Florida's Warrington College of Business. He is a member of ACM and IEEE.
