Jason’s passion for public service has brought him to careers in public policy and law. Originally from California, Jason has served as the Education Policy Coordinator at the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, a business association representing many of Silicon Valley’s leading companies before the local, state, and federal governments. In this position, he worked with policy leaders to develop career pipelines and programs to help students and individuals facing barriers to employment access their dream careers. Since receiving his bachelor’s degree from Tulane University, Jason has worked as a Staff Paralegal at the Mwalimu Center for Justice (previously Capital Post Conviction Project of Louisiana), which represents indigent petitioners on Louisiana’s Death Row during state post conviction proceedings. Currently, Jason serves as President of the International City / County Management Association’s Tulane Chapter, helping students build careers in law and public administration.
Jason currently resides in New Orleans and, in his spare time, enjoys photography and running. He looks forward to serving his fellow SoPA students.
