Biography
David Lebowitz is Executive Vice-President and COO at Watch Hill Capital (“WHC”). WHC is a Family Office with investments in behavioral healthcare, senior housing, medical office buildings, public equities and other ancillary areas. WHC was created in 2016 by the Co-Founder of G&L Realty Corporation, a Healthcare Real Estate company founded in 1975 that later was a NYSE publicly traded healthcare REIT from 1993-2006.
Since 2007, Mr. Lebowitz been the principal managing member of a $1 billion plus joint venture (“JV”) with Signature Behavioral Healthcare Services that focuses on the ownership and development of psychiatric hospitals and substance abuse facilities. Mr. Lebowitz has led all development, financing and acquisition efforts of over 1200 mental health beds. Prior to WHC, he worked in the entertainment/media and sport industries, including a 3 year stint as a professional golfer.
Mr. Lebowitz is on the Board of Advisors at the UCLA Resnick Psychiatric Hospital (UCLA Health System) and a Board Member for Maccabi USA Sports.
He received a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management, with a minor in Business, from Tulane University in 1997, where he was also a top player on the Varsity Golf Team. Mr. Lebowitz is a Los Angeles native and enjoys spending his free time with his family, traveling, golfing, skiing and following the LA sports scene.
