Stewart Serpas

Stewart Serpas Jr. is an IS Corporate Systems Analyst at Ochsner Health System, where he manages multiple enterprise-level security applications, balancing system oversight, incident response, workflow optimization, and project leadership. In previous roles he worked to provide technical support, design training resources, and document processes to improve efficiency, with his dedication and initiative consistently setting the standard for team performance.

A New Orleans native and graduate of Brother Martin High School, he went on to earn both a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a concentration in Enterprise Systems and Cloud and a Master of Science in Information Technology Management from Tulane University’s School of Professional Advancement (SoPA), graduating with honors at each level and completing graduate certificates in Data Science & Cloud and IT Strategic Planning. During his time as a student, he served as a member of the Dean’s Student Advisory Board, an Information Technology Tutor for the Academic Services Center for Student Athletes, and a student ambassador for the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana.

By returning as an instructor, he gives back to the programs that shaped his professional path while guiding students as they develop their own careers in technology.
