Stephen Staurovsky

Steve is a Solutions Consultant for Palo Alto Networks working with large enterprises in New England to secure their organizations. Prior to working for Palo Alto, he held positions in software development, systems administration, network engineering, and threat intelligence for Insurance and Financial Services enterprises. As a teacher he enjoys sharing stories of long nights in data centers from his 20+ years in IT with the next generation of practitioners. His technical interests include taking part in CTF events, malware analysis, and talking too long about DNS. His dream jobs remain being part of either the X-Men or Ghostbusters.

Steve has a BS from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an MS from Utica College. When he is not routing and switching, he enjoys woodworking projects, video games, cribbage, reading, and spending time with his lovely wife, their 2 children, mother-in-law, and dog.
