Biography
Roxzana F. Moore teaches on the Liberal Arts and Sciences faculty at SoPA. She received her B.S. in Secondary Science Education from Our Lady of Holy Cross College and her M.A. in Geography from the University of New Orleans. She has nine years of experience as a college/university instructor and nearly ten years of experience in remote sensing and GIS analysis.
Roxzana worked as a Geospatial Scientist at the Stennis Space Center doing image processing and GIS analysis for NASA Earth Science Applications. She was awarded NASA’s Director’s Certificate of Appreciation and the Vice President Award for Columbia Shuttle Recover Effort in 2013, NASA Group Achievement Award in 2006, and NASA Certificate for Service as Mentor for NASA’s Internship Program in 2008.

Everywhere.
What are your favorite activities when you are not working?
Anything in the great outdoors or any place in the world I can get to.
