A lifelong gamer, Rob grew up on classics like the NES and the Game Boy and still keeps pace with the latest gaming technology, boasting a PS5, a Nintendo Switch 2, and an Xbox Series X. He often drops gaming or sports references into lectures when the moment is right. Outside of technology, he is a devoted Cincinnati Reds fan, vinyl record collector, baseball card and memorabilia enthusiast, Funko Pop curator, comic book reader, and movie fan with a soft spot for science fiction, superheroes, and all things pop culture. He also enjoys bowling and believes that great technology education, much like great gameplay, requires strategy, adaptability, and the courage to press start.
