Peter Pagonis

Peter Pagonis is a New Orleans native with over 20 years of IT experience in Networking, Application Development, Deployment, Business Intelligence and Project Management. He obtained his Bachelor’s in Information Technology from Southern New Hampshire University, and Master’s of Science in IT Management at Tulane University. Peter is also a Certified System Administrator for ServiceNow, and holds certifications for multiple EPIC EHR Modules such as Clarity, ASAP, Willow, and more.

Currently, Peter works as a developer at Tulane on the Student Information team where he builds integrations and maintains multiple large-scale applications such as ServiceNow, Banner, and Canvas. Peter also serves as a mentor to others who are interested in expanding within the field.

Prior to Tulane, he worked at Ochsner in various roles. First, as an Epic analyst configuring and maintaining the Epic EHR system, then moving on to working as a System Administrator, and finally into Business Intelligence Reporting. During his tenure as an Epic Analyst and System Administrator, he assisted with deployments of Epic systems to various hospitals across the New Orleans/Southern Louisiana region. In his role as a Business Intelligence developer, Peter was responsible for creating sensitive pharmaceutical reporting and KPI metrics for the opioid dashboard used in New Orleans.

Apart from IT-related work, Peter is an avid gardener and is always looking for new hot pepper varieties to grow.
