Biography

It’s been over 20 years since Natalia first wandered onto Tulane’s campus—first as an admiring visitor, and then as a longtime program manager, builder, facilitator, and student advisor. Since then, she’s helped launch ideas, guide students, manage operations, and prevent many a spreadsheet from spiraling into chaos. Before joining SoPA in May 2025, she contributed her talents across several Tulane institutions, including the Stone Center for Latin American Studies, the Cuban and Caribbean Studies Institute, the Center for Inter-American Policy and Research, and the Altman Program in International Studies and Business. She’s now thrilled to call SoPA home, as she supports its seven outstanding programs.

Originally from Russia, Natalia has lived and worked across Europe, Brazil, Ecuador, and the U.S., and has happily called New Orleans home since 2004. She holds a Master’s in International Affairs from the School of Global Policy and Strategy at UC San Diego. A polyglot with a passion for process and people, she’s especially interested in how technology can help us work smarter, live better, and occasionally avoid a 37-email thread.
