Biography
Lisa Johnson, a native New Orleanian, is the Customer Service Assistant at SoPA. Her professional background includes administrative support, supervising and managing.
Ms. Johnson is also a SoPA student, and has earned certificates in both Management and New Business Ventures with the SoPA Business Studies program. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities.
Ms. Johnson also attended Orleans Regional Vocational Technical Institute in New Orleans, LA, Delgado Community College in New Orleans, LA and Dallas County Community College – Mountain View College in Dallas, TX.
What is your favorite app and why?
My favorite app is Facebook. I use it to keep up with my family and friends and mostly because I can face-time with my grandkids, who live in South Carolina.
Who has influenced you most in life?
My Dad (Pops) is my biggest influence. He was a very smart man, a hard worker and a true go-getter. He kept our family strong and motivated us to press forward in spite of any obstacles. Not only did he make life comfortable and happy for my Mom, my sister and I, he worked hard with me through difficult times, helped me to understand my homework, took my sister and I to the movies every weekend and he also taught me how to cook and drive. He was my stepfather - and the best Father anyone could ever have.
What is your favorite thing about SoPA?
My favorite thing about SoPA is that the leadership here is focused on making the school the absolute best it can be. I can see first-hand the hard work and dedication and I am happy to be a part of it all.
