Biography
Kevin Archer is an adjunct instructor at Tulane University and teaches Cyber Security related courses. Mr. Archer is currently a Defensive Cyberspace Operations Instructor at the United States Air Force Weapons School, where he trains tactical experts and leaders to control and exploit air, space, and cyber on behalf of the joint force.
Mr. Archer has 16 years of experience in cyberspace operations and defeating the most advanced adversaries in the cyberspace domain. He specializes in incident response, penetration testing, compliance, and risk assessment/management.
Mr. Archer received his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix, AZ, and a Master of Science in Information Security Engineering from The SANS Technology Institute. In addition to his multiple degrees, Mr. Archer holds several industry certifications, including GIAC (GSEC, GCIH, GCIA, GPEN, GCFA, GNFA, GDAT, GMON, GDSA, GCCC, and GCPM) and CompTIA (Security+).
His hobbies include watching the San Francisco 49ers, spending quality time with his family, and traveling all over the country for competitive sports.
