Biography

Johnathan Freeman is an adjunct professor at the Tulane University School of Professional Advancement (SoPA).

Johnathan has been an active-duty Air Force member for 15 years serving in various information technology and cyberspace operations roles.  He began his career in cyberspace operations working as a client systems technician and system administrator charged with maintaining and defending intelligence systems. Johnathan also has a background in both Network and Windows System Forensics, Cyber Threat Emulation, and Intrusion Response.  In his current role, Johnathan is a Cyberspace Operations Weapons Officer teaching the next generation of defensive cyberspace professionals how to protect the nation against nation state cyber activity.  Johnathan earned his B.S. in Information Technology Management at American Military University and his MPS in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance at The Pennsylvania State University.
