Biography
John Craun has taught writing and literature classes for The School of Professional Advancement since 2011. He holds a Master of Fine Arts in Poetry from the Iowa Writers' Workshop.
What are your favorite activities when you are not working?
I'm a musician and producer, so much of my time outside Tulane is spent writing, recording and performing.
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
There are so many places that I'd love to see! Currently, I'm dreaming of the Mesopotamian Reef near Cozumel, Mexico--crystal clear Caribbean waters that are warm year round, and some of the best scuba diving in the world.
What is your favorite thing about SoPA?
I love our diverse student body--people of all ages and from all walks of life.
