Biography
Jodi Powell is a data-driven cybersecurity professional specializing in data analytics, data visualization, and applied machine learning. With experience across federal agencies and consulting firms, she combines technical fluency with strategic insight to support secure, evidence-based decision-making.
As a senior cybersecurity policy analyst consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, Jodi supports the CMMC Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), where she leads identify management, system access audits, user access control and technical demonstrations for Department of Defense stakeholders. Her role involves integrating data analytics to optimize compliance workflows and strengthen risk oversight.
Jodi is proficient in SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, and SPSS, and uses these tools to analyze security posture, visualize operational trends, and automate reporting. Her machine learning work supports behavior modeling, predictive risk analysis, and audit enhancement.
She previously supported cybersecurity and audit functions at DISA and Battelle, aligning internal controls with federal compliance standards. Jodi holds a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems and Sciences from Bowie State University and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business Technology from Delaware State University, where she graduated summa cum laude.
