Biography
Jennifer Bourgeois is a New Orleans native. She joins the Tulane University School of Professional Advancement as the Program Manager II of PreK-12 Education Programs. Ms. Bourgeois earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a Minor in Sociology from the University of New Orleans and a Juris Doctorate from LSU's Paul M. Hebert Law Center. Prior to joining SoPA, Jennifer served as the Program and Community Engagement Director at Start the Adventure in Reading (STAIR), a local nonprofit that provides literacy tutoring to New Orleans area second and third grade students. Before shifting her career focus to education, Ms. Bourgeois served as a Law Clerk to two judges and a Minute Clerk to one judge. She has also worked as a practicing attorney. Ms. Bourgeois is an active member of the Louisiana State Bar Association.
