Jake Silvas

Jake Silvas (he/him) is a Visual Design Specialist on the Learning Design and Development team at Tulane University's School of Professional Advancement, where he serves as the visual and production partner to instructional designers and subject matter experts. His work covers video production, interactive design, course management, and animation. His background includes graphic design, web development, and UX/UI work across higher education, nonprofit communications, and digital marketing. Before moving into design, Jake taught high school English, an experience that still shapes how he thinks about audience and learning. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Loyola University New Orleans and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Interactive UI/UX Design from Tulane University School of Professional Advancement.
