Devin Dickerson

Devin Dickerson is a Principal Technologist on MongoDB's global field CTO roster, where he partners with senior technical leaders at large enterprises to modernize legacy applications and build the next generation of AI-powered software. He is also an adjunct professor of Information Technology at the Tulane University School of Professional Advancement (SoPA). His work centers on cloud-native development, application modernization, developer platforms, and the practical economics of adopting AI at scale.

Before joining MongoDB, Devin was a Principal Analyst at Forrester Research, advising application development leaders on cloud-native strategy, developer platforms, edge, and modernization. He came to that work as an operator first: earlier in his career he led software engineering teams and government acquisition efforts across the DoD and Department of Navy, delivering applications for demanding medical and defense use cases. A native New Orleanian with a Masters in IT from Virginia Tech, he brings that same mix of hands-on engineering and strategic perspective to the classroom at SoPA.
