Biography
Denise is an international education specialist with a decade of experience working with educators, schools and students to internationalize K-12 curricula. She manages educational and public engagement for Tulane University’s Stone Center for Latin American Studies where she also serves as the Coordinator of a national book award for children, the Américas Book Award sponsored by the national Consortium of Latin American Studies Programs. In addition, Denise prepares students in the Teacher Preparation and Certification Program to be teachers.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Spanish from Reed College in Portland, OR as well as a Masters degree in International Communication from the School of International Service at American University in Washington, D.C. and an MBA from Tulane University.
