Cynthia Washington

Cynthia Washington is a career educator with 13 years of experience in higher education and is currently the Associate Director of Career Education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She teaches Career Success Strategies in the Business and Leadership Studies program at SoPA. Her coaching philosophy blends empathy, strategy, and taking action with an understanding that career and professional development is a lifelong process of discovery and learning. She holds a Master of Liberal Arts from Tulane University, a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.

As a life design enthusiast, she built her career using the design thinking methodology that she teaches to students.
