Biography

Dr. Craig Flanagan is the Program Director and Professor of Practice in Kinesiology at Tulane University’s School of Professional Advancement, where he leads curriculum development and program strategy aimed at preparing students for careers in a rapidly evolving health, sport, and performance landscape. He earned his PhD in Exercise Physiology from the University of Miami and has extensive experience designing academic programs that integrate scientific rigor with industry-relevant skills.

In addition to his academic role, Dr. Flanagan serves as Director of Scientific Affairs at HealthSnap, a healthcare technology company focusing on remote patient monitoring and chronic disease management with origins stemming from his doctoral work. His work centers on leveraging large-scale, real-world clinical data to evaluate outcomes and inform modern care delivery models.

Since joining Tulane in 2020, Dr. Flanagan has taught and developed a range of on-ground and online courses that prepare students to translate scientific knowledge into practice. He and his family live in Baton Rouge.
