
Biography
Dr. Sneed is a former DI Track & Field Thrower at ETSU. After his college career, he went on to pursue a career in college athletic administration and earned an MA in Sports Management and an EdD in Global Sport Leadership at ETSU. His doctoral research was entitled "The Attitudes on Life After Athletics Among African-American Male NCAA Division I Basketball Student-Athletes”. He also earned an MS in Academic Advising from Kansas State and completed the Athlete Development Professional Certification Program at Wharton. Dr. Sneed currently works as the Assistant AD for Student-Athlete Enhancement and Senior Academic Counselor for the Men's Basketball. Prior to Tulane, he worked at the University of Memphis and ETSU in Student-Athlete Enhancement and Academic Advising roles. Sneed’s journey in higher education also includes stops at King University and Loyola University where he was the Assistant Track and Field Coach for throws.
