Biography

Dr. Claudine Davis is a native of New Orleans who began her education career 18 years ago. Prior to joining SoPA, Dr. Davis gained extensive experience in K-12 education systems. Throughout her time in the K-12 system, she has served in many capacities, including teaching, coaching, mentoring, leadership, professional development, and curriculum and instruction. Most recently, she worked as a school administrator in a transformational school and as an adjunct professor, teaching undergraduate and graduate level education courses. Dr. Davis earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction at Mercer University in Atlanta, GA. She also holds additional credentials in administration and teacher leadership.  Her research interests include teacher and leadership development, mentorship, effective instructional practices, and school reform and sustainability.
