Dr. Charvi Greer is an adjunct faculty member of the SoPA Sport Studies Program. Additionally, she serves as the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Academics and Senior Woman Administrator for the Tulane University Athletic Department. Her role includes oversight of the academic support and student-athlete development unit, supervision of assigned sport programs, and student-athlete welfare initiatives. In addition to her responsibilities as a Tulane administrator, Dr. Greer currently serves on American Athletic Conference and National Collegiate Athletic Association committees. Dr. Greer came to Tulane from East Tennessee State University (ETSU), where she spent five years in a similar role. A native of Auburn, Alabama, she graduated with BS and MS degrees from the University of Georgia – where she played varsity softball. She earned her EdD from ETSU in global sport leadership. Her primary area of focus is sport administration, leadership and management. She has taught courses in sport governance, sport marketing, and business seminars.
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
I would love to travel to Australia, Greece, and South Africa.
