Tulane SoPA Dean Suri Duitch to moderate upcoming Family Business Forum

The A.B. Freeman School of Business in partnership with the Tulane School of Professional Advancement (SoPA) will host the first Family Business Forum of 2022 on Friday, Feb. 11 from 8 a.m. -11 a.m. CST. A lunch session on entrepreneurship will follow from noon-1 p.m. CST.

Suri Duitch, Dean of Tulane SoPA, will moderate the morning session during which Jane Wolfe and Scott Wolfe Sr. will share their experience working together in a family business and passing their knowledge to the next generation of entrepreneurs, their two children. Following that, Rob Lalka, Albert Lepage Professor in Business and Executive Director for the Lepage Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, will moderate a discussion with Scott Wolfe Jr. about his experience of growing up in this family and how what he learned translated into his successes with Levelset.

Jane and Scott Wolfe Sr. are the owners of the iconic Melba's Poboy restaurant and former owners of the Wagner's Meat Market chain. Scott Wolfe Jr. is the founder of Levelset, a cloud-based software platform that streamlines the payment process for construction contractors and suppliers.

The morning session takes place at Tulane’s Stewart Center for Executive Education, 725 Howard Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70130.

From noon- 1 p.m. CST, Scott Wolfe Jr. will speak on his experience as an entrepreneur who built and sold his company, Levelset, valued at a half-billion dollars. This lunch-talk session will take place at the Business School Executive Dining Room 460.
