Program Overview

 

Tulane SoPA offers two online bachelor’s degrees in this program: a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Behavior & Management Studies. You can also earn professional certificates in areas like Human Resources Fundamentals, Accounting Fundamentals, Small Business Development, and Applied Business Studies.

Graduates are equipped for careers in business administration, human resources, project management, executive leadership, and small business ownership. Common job titles include HR manager, management analyst, operations coordinator, compensation specialist, and training and development lead.

Yes. All degrees and certificates in this program are available fully online, with flexible formats that support working professionals. Courses are interactive and focus on real-world applications of business leadership, strategic management, and organizational behavior.

Online Bachelor’s Degrees

 

The Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources focuses on workforce strategy, organizational design, and employee engagement. You’ll explore topics like compensation and benefits, labor law, recruiting, retention, and performance management, all through a curriculum aligned with SHRM standards for HR professionals.

The Bachelor of Science in Organizational Behavior & Management Studies centers on the intersection of business operations and organizational leadership. You’ll study strategic management, project coordination, business ethics, global commerce, and team dynamics, building the skills to lead people and manage change across industries.

The curriculum includes courses in business communication, management principles, human resource development, finance, marketing, organizational behavior, and entrepreneurship. You’ll also study ethics, leadership strategy, and workplace psychology, all designed to strengthen your management skills and business acumen.

Yes. Tulane SoPA accepts up to 60 transfer credits toward the 120-credit requirement for bachelor’s degrees. This makes it easier for students with previous college experience to accelerate their path to graduation.

While the program does not offer formal concentrations, students can customize their path through elective choices and professional certificates in areas like small business development, human resources, and accounting.

Admission is open to students with a high school diploma or GED. No standardized test scores or recommendation letters are required. Tulane SoPA offers rolling admissions with start dates in August, January, and May.

Most students complete their degree in two to four years, depending on their course load and number of transfer credits. The flexible, online format allows students to set a pace that fits their personal and professional commitments.

Professional Certificates

 

Tulane SoPA offers professional certificates in Accounting Fundamentals, Applied Business Studies, Human Resources Fundamentals, and Small Business Development. Each certificate provides focused, career-driven training in essential areas of business administration and leadership.

Each certificate consists of 18 credit hours and can typically be completed in six courses. Depending on their course load and schedule, many students finish in under a year.

Admission to certificate programs requires a high school diploma or GED. No standardized test scores or recommendation letters are needed, and applications are accepted on a rolling basis with multiple start dates each year.
