AI as a Teaching and Workplace Personnel Development Tool
How can AI-enabled avatar characters enhance teaching and support workplace personnel development? Kay McLennan will demonstrate how AI case study characters enhance her business and leadership studies courses. In addition, Kay will demonstrate how AI characters can be used for interviewing, on-boarding, and training in the workplace. As an alternative to traditional lecture slides, the SoPA students surveyed on the use of AI-driven case study characters overwhelming prefer this type of interactive learning.

AI as a Performance Coach: Vibe Coding & Real-Time Feedback
How can AI move beyond basic chat to become a true partner in professional growth? Javier Pineda demonstrates "vibe coding" in Gemini to instantly transform job descriptions into actionable SMART goals. He will also showcase AI role-playing tools that allow both managers and employees to auditorily practice feedback or presentations in a "safe" environment. This session highlights how Tulane HR is exploring technical automation with the human-centric coaching to empower a modern, high-performing workforce.

AI: What Happened and What's New
Much has happened since the initial launch of ChatGPT in November 2022. Knud Berthelsen takes us on a quick tour of the most important developments, the most recent developments, and the most interesting AI tools and capabilities right now.
