Brian and Jill Rowe Foundation Scholarship

The Brian and Jill Rowe Foundation Scholarships provide assistance for SoPA students who are U.S. military veterans or on active duty with the U.S. military.

Fall 2023 recipients are:

James Monaghan and Alana Bishop Monaghan Scholarship

The James Monaghan and Alana Bishop Monaghan Scholarship is awarded each fall semester and supports undergraduate students who have an officially declared major or minor in Homeland Security Studies.

Murphy Institute Scholarships

Murphy Institute scholarships are funded through a gift from the Murphy Institute, and are awarded to SoPA students who are employed by the City of New Orleans including, but not limited to, the New Orleans police and fire departments, Sewerage & Water Board, and Emergency Medical Services.

Osher Re-entry Scholarships

Osher Re-entry Scholarships are endowed by a $1,000,000 gift from the Bernard Osher Foundation. The scholarship is awarded to students who are completing their degrees after a 5+ year gap in pursuit of higher education.
