SoPA has an open admissions policy for undergraduate study: applicants are not required to take standardized tests to be admitted. To qualify for entrance, a prospective student must have:
- Earned a high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma prior to the semester in which he or she wishes to enroll
- Good standing at the most recent prior college attended, if he/she has previously attended another institution of higher education OR
- Completed any dismissal terms set forth by the last prior college attended, if applicable.
These requirements apply to any student seeking undergraduate admission, even those who do not seek to earn a degree, certificate, or credential from SoPA.
If you are not seeking to earn a degree or certificate from SoPA (i.e. you will be “non-matriculating”), you are not required to submit official transcripts to SoPA. Please note that non-matriculating students are ineligible for federal financial aid. Should you elect to pursue a degree or certificate after being admitted as a non-matriculating student, you will be required to submit official transcripts.
