Dear SoPA Students,

Summer, summer, summertime! It's finally here, along with snoballs and termite swarms in New Orleans. Many students are taking advantage of this time by enrolling in a class or two and making even more progress towards their degree goals. Some are taking a well-deserved breather after a historic academic year. Either way, make sure you keep in touch with your team at SoPA to help keep you on track. Please note that summer hours for the Elmwood Campus this summer will be 8:30A.M.–5:00P.M. Uptown Campus hours will remain the same. Congrats on an unforgettable spring.

Enroll in SOPA 1100 Foundations of Academic Success this Fall! This course is an interdisciplinary study of a student's academic success while at the Tulane School of Professional Advancement (SoPA). Students will develop the skills needed to promote academic and personal success. Topics include strengths assessment, motivation, goals, self-advocacy, self-management, and well-being. Students will also identify the campus resources and support services available to them through Tulane in addition to participating in a personal technology software assessment to locate areas that need extra attention within commonly used programs (ex: Microsoft Word and PowerPoint).
