Associate Director of PreK-12 Education Programs & Professor of Practice

Dr. Parker began her educational path as a first-grade classroom teacher and holds over 23 years of experience in non-profits, K-12 systems, and universities. Dr. Parker's interests include early literacy, reading development, educational resilience, and meaningful student-teacher interactions.

Tulane International Society Grab-And-Go
Thursday, December 8, 2022 | 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. CST

Tulane International Society will sponsor a grab-and-go event ahead of the finals study period where students can grab a free taco from Barracuda taqueria! Students can come by to Pocket Park next to the LBC. 
 

Leadership Educator in Residence: Keynote & Conversation with Dr. Marcy Shankman
Friday, December 9, 2022 | 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. CST

In conversation with Dr. Mallory Monaco Caterine, Dr. Shankman will share how her liberal arts/humanities background has shaped her leadership journey and practice, including discussion of particular humanities artifacts and frameworks help her and can help others in a VUCA world. The conversation will focus on the philosophical and practical ways liberal arts can help us lead in a complex world.
 

Tulane Football plays in the Cotton Bowl
Monday, January 2, 2023 | 12 p.m. CST

The Tulane University Green Wave will face the University of Southern California Trojans in the 87th Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX. The game will air live on ESPN starting at noon. Click here for ticket details.
 

Tulane Students Veterans of America (SVA) first meeting of Spring 2023
Monday, January 19, 2022 | 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. CST

Mark your calendars for the first meeting of SVA in Spring 2023 which will include a Career Services spotlight with Susan de la Houssaye. More details will be shared at a later date.
